Zebra River Lodge is an old original farmhouse, situated in 12 500 hectares of dramatic scenery, deep in the Tsaris Mountains of southern Namibia. The Lodge has accommodated guests in its special environment for almost 20 years. Zebra River Lodge is a paradise for nature lovers. The lodge invites you to relax under an azure-blue sky and to feast your senses on our tranquil surroundings where you can listen to the silence of nature.
Zebra River Lodge is a charming place providing 13 double or triple en suite rooms. The lodge is well known for its cuisine. Take home memories of homemade bread and delicious, farm-style comfort food complemented by an outstanding selection of South African wines. Experience summer dinners together under the cool veranda or nestle up to the warm fireplace in winter. Coffee, tea, water and home-made cookies or cake are found in the dining room as well. The cristal-clear and refreshing water at Zebra River Lodge is derived from underground natural reservoirs and can be consumed without concern.
Zebra River Lodge sits in the valley alongside the Zebra River which, although it is dry most of the year, is home to kudu, warthog, zebra, jackals and many more, all of which can be seen from the lodge veranda when they visit the water hole. There are several natural springs within easy reach of the lodge, ideal for a days walking and bird watching.
