Vumbura Plains Camp is a luxury camp in the Okavango Delta which comprises two seperate camps, Vumbura North and Vumbura South. The camp consists of 14 thatched rooms overall, including two family units.
Each one of the large and comfortable rooms is built on a platform off the ground and offers indoor and outdoor showers, an en-suite bathroom, a private plunge pool, a sala and a lounge area open on three sides for the best view of the surrounding floodplains.
Vumbura Plains camp offers a variety of interesting activities including morning, afternoon and night game drives in an open 4×4 safari vehicle, mokoro excursions, boat cruises (water level dependent), walking safaris and Hot Air ballooning (at own cost).
