Chitabe Camp is a luxury lodge, situated in the south-east of the Okavango Delta. The area around the camp – an island in the private Chitabe concession – is famous for its unbelievable numbers and diversity of wildlife, in particular predators.
The camp offers eight spacious luxury tents, built on elevated wooden decks in a little forest. Each tent has twin beds, en-suite facilities and an indoor as well as an outdoor shower. The main area comprises a thatched dining and lounge area (including bar) built on raised platforms as well as a pool.
The camp offers incredible game viewing opportunities. African wild dogs, lions, leopards are frequently seen, as well as elephants and other large African mammals. Activities at Chitabe Camp include game drives, night drives, walking safaris and birding.
