Camp Kwando is situated 400 km east of Rundu and 100 km west of Katima Mulilo, and 28 km south from the village of Kongola. The island accommodates thatched tents, each one with two beds. Every bed is equipped with a mosquito net. Built on poles with a terrace overlooking the river, these thatched tents will allow you to do some fishing from the deck. Also available are six luxury chalets on higher ground. Each chalet has a large bedroom, En-suite bathroom and expanding terrace. Camping sites are also provided.

The lodge has its own flat bottom aluminium boat that can take up to fourteen persons for trips on the Kwando river. A specially equipped Land Rover allows for game drives into neighbouring parks. For the adventurous angler, the tiger fish can be caught in the waters of the Kwando. The camps proximity to the Mamili National Park, famous for its wilderness, allows field trips to be organised to get a taste of the real bush life. A three day excursion to Mamili will let one experience true exceptional adventure.
