Nambwa Tented Lodge

Nambwa Tented Lodge – Located on the banks of the Kwando River, Nambwa Tented Lodge is nestled in the heart of the Mashi Conservancy, within Bwabwata National Park. This is a sanctuary for more than 35 large and small game species and upwards of 330 bird species. These animals move freely throughout the area which creates a mecca for wildlife viewing. Because of their partnership with the Mashi Conservancy, the lodge offers traversing rights to over 300,000 hectares where we can spot these lovely creatures. You’ll see countless herds of elephants, alongside water buffalo, hippos, roan, sable, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and letchew, as well as lion, wilddogs and leopard. If you’re a bird lover, the lodge is home to many rare and endemic species.

The peace and experience at Nambwa Tented Lodge will stay with you for a lifetime. The luxury tent suites are built up in the trees, overlooking the Kwando River and floodplains with stunning views of the wildlife below. Each suite is exceptionally spacious at approximately 110 square metres in size, with an En-suite bathroom and large inside shower. There is mosquito netting around the bed to ensure an undisturbed sleep, and a spacious private deck where you can relax to your heart’s content. The suites are situated to offer maximum privacy. All have access to the main lodge via built walkways.
