12 Days Self Drive Namibian Family Safari is to visit around the main highlights that Namibia has to offer in Africa. In just 12 days and 11 nights. You will Spend time amongst the ancient dunes in Sossusvlei, go back in time with the coastal time of Swakopmund. Experience the vast landscapes of Otjiwarongo and exceptional game viewing at the world-famous Etosha National Park.

You will be met and handed over the Vehicle. The guest will drive to eastern Namibia (Gobabis). Like most towns in Namibia, Gobabis has an interesting history, which is documented in the local Gobabis Museum. Opened on request, visitors will find a collection of historic artifacts inside, while old agricultural implements are displayed on the grounds.

You will get morning breakfast and depart to the south side of Namibia. Mariental is located close to magnificent the Hardap Dam, which is the largest reservoir in Namibia.
The Hardap Irrigation Scheme has breathed life into this arid terrain, which is now fertile with farmlands covered in citrus, melons, lucerne, wine, and maize, and dotted with ostrich farms.

You will get morning breakfast and depart to Fish River Canyon which is Carving out an epic rocky wonderland in the south of Namibia, the Fish River has created Africa’s largest and the world’s second-largest canyon.
Hot, dry, and stony, the Fish River Canyon measures a whopping 160 kilometers in length, at times 27 kilometers in width and 550 meters in depth.

You will depart in the morning from Fish River Canyon and depart to the Sossusvlei area.
The drive reveals the transition from Kalahari thornveld to the true desert of the Namib; Lilyveld, a valley 30km north of Maltahöhe, springs into bloom for about a week after good rains; Duiwiseb Castle is an interesting diversion 70km south-west of Maltahöhe.
Along the way, clients will get Lunch that will be served along the way where the guide will pullover by a big tree and serve lunch at 12h00-13h00. After arrival guests will have leisure time before going on a Sundowner drive to Elim dune around 17h30 or 18h00.

You will grab breakfast and drive into the park for the Sossuvlei Excursion which includes Dune 45, Deadvlei, Hiddenvlei, and Big Daddy.
You will have regular stops to let clients take pictures and have some exposure to the Dunes. You will be back around lunchtime and will have some leisure time for yourself at the pool while.

You will depart to Swakopmund early morning at around 09:00 am. Once you will arrive, they will get lunch in Swakopmund after quad biking and Sandboard activity which is about a 2-hour drive.
After the activities, other optional activities can be Skydiving, Sandwich habour, kayaking, and desert tour. There are a lot of activities that clients can do in Swakopmund.

You will have breakfast and depart to the northern part of Namibia. their journey and the second stop will be in Otjiwarongo, where you can grab lunch at the shopping center before proceeding to Etosha National Park.
The route is almost too short to stop, barring a comfort stop at Outjo and a picture of the Ugab Terrace. If time permits, enter Etosha for an afternoon game drive.
Depending on how often you stop today, On entering the park, the first stop would be Okaukuejo where you pay your entry fee and we suggest you pop in at the local shop to purchase some drinks and snacks and most importantly, a map of Etosha which will show you all the waterholes along the way.
Etosha has lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, springbok, and elephants. This on top of many lesser and common plains herds, and abundant birds makes game viewing in Etosha.

You will take early breakfast and then go on the full day game drive and around 12h00 -13h00 clients will have lunch inside the park and continue with the game drive up till the afternoon and after the game, drive you will have leisure time to enjoy the atmosphere before dinner.
