Day 1: Waterberg Resort (279.3km)

The clients will depart for Waterberg Resort, a stunning destination known for its dramatic
sandstone cliffs, rich history, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, guests can settle in and enjoy the
serene natural surroundings before heading out for their scheduled activity.

Overnight: Waterberg Resort
Waterberg Resort is located in the Plateau National Park, east of Otjiwarongo. The resort boasts a
selection of accommodations, including family chalets, double rooms, campsites, and bush
chalets. Guests can indulge in delicious meals from the on-site restaurant. Other services and
facilities include a swimming pool, a bar, and a kiosk. For leisure, guests can enjoy game drives.

Waterberg

Day 2: Waterberg Resort

After breakfast, guests will enjoy a full day exploring the natural beauty and diverse wildlife of the
Waterberg Plateau. The area is known for its lush vegetation, dramatic red sandstone cliffs, and rich
biodiversity, offering a peaceful yet exciting day in nature.

Day 3: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge

Today, guests will travel into Damaraland, one of Namibia’s most striking and dramatic desert
landscapes. Known for its rugged mountains, vast open plains, and ancient geological formations,
Damaraland offers a true sense of wilderness.
Your journey continues to Twyfelfontein, a remarkable archaeological site situated in the Kunene
Region of north-western Namibia. Famous for its rich cultural history, Twyfelfontein is home to
approximately 2,000 ancient rock engravings, created by early hunter-gatherers thousands of years
ago. Due to its cultural significance and well-preserved rock art, the site was declared a UNESCO World
Heritage Site in 2007.

Day 4: Etosha Safari Camp Gondwana Collection Namibia, Etosha South (315.4km)

Today, guests will depart for the iconic Etosha National Park, where they will spend the next two
nights. Etosha is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations, known for its vast
landscapes, abundant wildlife, and exceptional game-viewing opportunities.
At the heart of the park lies the Etosha Salt Pan, a massive, shimmering white expanse so large it
is visible from space. Despite its harsh environment, Etosha supports an impressive variety of
wildlife. Animals gather in great numbers around the natural and artificial waterholes, offering
visitors almost guaranteed sightings throughout the day.
Etosha National Park is regarded as one of the most accessible and rewarding game reserves in
Namibia and Southern Africa. The high concentration of wildlife especially during the dry season
means guests may encounter lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and numerous antelope
species with relative ease. In some cases, remarkable sightings can even occur right from the
comfort of your rest camp.

National Park. This full-day safari offers ample time to visit several of the park’s renowned waterholes
and grazing areas, maximizing the chances of witnessing a wide variety of animal behaviors and
interactions. Guests can expect excellent opportunities for spectacular photography and memorable
wildlife encounters. Etosha is home to an impressive array of species, including elephants, rhinos, lions,
leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species. The everchanging landscapes from open plains to mopane woodlands provide a beautiful backdrop to the day’s
adventure.

Day 6: Roy's Rest Camp, Grootfontein (424.5km)

After an early breakfast, guests will depart for Grootfontein, a charming town whose name translates to
“Big Fountain.” Grootfontein is well-known for its rich cultural heritage and for being near the site of the
Hoba Meteorite the largest meteorite ever discovered on Earth, located approximately 25 km from the
town center. Guests will also visit a traditional Bushmen (San) village, offering valuable insight into one
of the world’s oldest surviving cultures.

Visit to the Ju/’Hoansi Living Museum: This immersive cultural experience allows guests to engage
with the Ju/’Hoansi San community. Visitors can learn about their ancient traditions, hunting techniques,
tracking skills, medicinal plants, spiritual beliefs, and daily lifestyle. It is an authentic and interactive
opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Namibia’s indigenous heritage.

Day 7: Shametu River Lodge, Divundu (404km)

After an early breakfast, guests will depart for the Okavango River region, traveling through the
scenic Caprivi Strip and the area surrounding Bwabwata National Park. The route is renowned
for its abundant wildlife, with frequent road signs warning, “beware of elephants,” as this corridor
hosts one of the largest populations of elephants migrating between Chobe and the Zambezi.
Along the way, the landscape is punctuated by striking baobab trees and the lush vegetation of
the region, providing excellent photographic opportunities.

Visit to Mahango Game Reserve: Guests will explore this remarkable reserve, home to a rich
diversity of wildlife. Mahango is particularly known for its elephant herds, as well as hippos,
buffalo, giraffes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. The reserve offers a peaceful yet
rewarding safari experience, with the chance to observe animals in their natural habitats along
the Okavango floodplains.

Day 9: Kwalape Safari Lodge, Kasane (438.1 km)

Client’s after breakfast will be crossing the border with Botswana and reach Kasane – the largest
town in this region with a slight architectural chaos characteristic of Botswana. The area has the
largest concentration of elephants in the world. Elephant migrations take place very close to the city
limits. On the access road, be very careful because huge herds like to run across the main road.
In Kasane, we will go on a boat trip on the Chobe River. During the cruise we will observe many
wild animals.
