Self-Catering lodge and camping at the Okavango

Mobola Island Lodge is a small and personal self-catering lodge directly situated at the Okavango river. The lodge provides five African style chalets, three Safari tents and six shady campsites at the river. It is the perfect place to enjoy the unmistakable beauty of the Okavango River as well as the uniqueness of the fauna and flora of this region in Namibia.

Mobola Island Lodge promises a stay in absolute comfortable and private atmosphere. Guests will find relaxation in the Lodge gardens or in the natural swimming pool which uses filtered Okavango water pumped into a little waterfall.

One of the highlights of Mobola Island Lodge is the Mobola Island which can be reached over a rope bridge. The Mobola Island can be used by guests for short walks in a relaxing atmosphere or some fishing. At the Island guests will find a bar where spectacular sundowners can be enjoyed. The stay at Mobola Island Lodge promises an unforgettable African experience.

Accommodation

Mobola Island Lodge offers five private guest chalets: two family chalets for 4-6 persons, two double bed and one luxury chalet. All chalets have a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, toilette, an extra outside shower and a big terrace right next to the river with an outside barbeque area.

In addition to that there are three luxury canvas tents directly situated on the Mobola Island. The tents offer a fully equipped self-catering kitchen on a deck overlooking the river, bathroom with shower and toilette and an outside BBQ area. 

The 6 shady campsites have an own braai area, power, water and  shared abolution block.
