Moving on to Lower Zambezi National Park, the safari adventure continues with river activities along the Zambezi, such as canoe safaris and fishing excursions. Itinerary

Day 1 Victoria Falls Airport to South Luangwa National Park

 Accommodation: Flatdogs Camp

Guest will be picked up at Mfuwe airport by a driver from Mfuwe Lodge and drive for 25 minutes through the local village, over the Luangwa Bridge and into the park.

You will see wildlife as soon as you near the bridge so be sure to keep your binoculars handy! Mfuwe is a charming and unique lodge situated in the South Luangwa National Park. the northern and southern Luangwa National Parks contain some of the most breath-taking and untouched wilderness in Africa.

As a result of this and the parks’ successful anti-poaching campaigns, the area has developed into a world-renowned wildlife haven.

The South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its walking safari, which allows visitors to view elephant, hippo and even lion close-up under the supervision of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.

Day 2 South Luangwa National Park

Accommodation: Flatdogs Camp

This Morning Guest will have breakfast and go on a Game drive and will be back before lunch and in the afternoon go on a walk. Wildlife includes hippo, crocodiles and over 400 species of birds, elephants and large herds of buffalo.

Thornicroft’s giraffe and Cookson’s wildebeest can be spotted plus healthy populations of wild dogs. The Treehouse has three main decks which are around eight feet off the ground with wooden stairways to reach the spacious sitting area and open-plan bedrooms. Each bedroom has open-air en suite bathroom facilities.

Guests at the treehouse are provided with a hand-held radio, as the secluded nature of the house means that a vehicle is needed to transport you up and down from the main camp. Four adults sharing the Treehouse are guaranteed a private vehicle and safari guide

Day 3South Luangwa National Park

Guest will have breakfast and drive deeper into the park South Luangwa with a game drive in the national park.

Overnight: Flatdogs Camp

Our safari guides are of the highest standard, having passed the challenging South Luangwa Guide Exam, and they are ready to show you the incredible diversity of Zambian mammals, both large and small, as well as our trees, birds, insects, tracks, spoor and even fish if you ask them to!! Day 4South Luangwa National Park to Livingstone (Victoria Falls) Flight

Accommodation: Victoria Falls Waterfront

Guest will freshen up this morning and be Leaving to Livingstone (Victoria Falls) Located near the Zambezi River in southwestern Zambia, the bustling town of Livingstone is famous as the home of the magnificent Victoria Falls. One of the original natural wonders of the world, the World Heritage Site is known locally as ‘The Smoke that Thunders’.

This spectacle is accessible from both Zambia and Zimbabwe and is an ideal place to combine game viewing and water sports.

There is much to do including excellent fishing, a thrilling bungee jump and arguably the best commercial whitewater rafting in the world. wildcats, genets, civets, honey badgers, porcupines and maybe even the rare pangolin.

11:00 am 15 min Helicopter Flight over the Victoria Falls

3:30 pm Meet your guide in the reception of the Lodge for a short transfer to African Queen where you enjoy a 2 hr sunset river cruise. On the cruise, you will be served snacks and drinks.

After the cruise, you will be transferred back to your lodge.

Day 5Livingstone (Victoria Falls)

Accommodation: Victoria Falls Waterfront

Guest will have breakfast and go on a guided tour of the falls on the Zambian side (you also have Unlimited access to the Eastern Cataract of The Falls and park fees). A choice of an Elephant Back Safari OR a 15-minute Flight of Angels over The Victoria Falls.

Overnight: Victoria Falls Waterfront

The Victoria Falls Waterfront is situated on the Northern banks of the Zambezi River, approximately 4 km’s upstream from The Victoria Falls and just opposite Siloka Island (Long Island).

This establishment is designed to attract the younger more adventurous traveller (and of course the young at heart!) who wish to experience the Great Zambezi River, the wonder of the Victoria Falls and its stunning wildlife surrounds, without great expense. It is designed to cater for all travellers, from camping to basic, good quality chalet accommodation.

Day 6Livingstone (Victoria Falls) to Airport

This is the last day of tour and the guest will just have breakfast and be transferred back to airport at a time to be confirmed.
