Day 1: Kalahari Anib Lodge Gondwana Collection Namibia, Kalahari Namibia (281.3km)

Traveling west-north towards small town of Keetmanshoop, after Keetmanshoop turn to the gravel road and short visit to: Quiver Tree Forest & Giant’s Playground. Arrival at the lodge for relaxing afternoon in the Kalahari Desert.

Day 2: Canyon Village Gondwana Collection Namibia, Fish River Canyon (420.5km)

Day 3: Canyon Village Gondwana Collection Namibia, Fish River Canyon

You will have breakfast and a full day to continue with the activities.

Experience firsthand the geological forces that unfolded 300 million years ago, when the Fish River began to etch its way through hard quartzite forming a Canyon 90 kilometers long, 549 meters deep and 28 kilometers wide in some places, making it the world’s second largest Canyon.

The 45,000-hectare Canyon Nature Park is a natural sanctuary for Karoo succulent flora and endemic wildlife.

Day 4: Obelix Guesthouse, Luderitz (421.4km)

Luderitz is the closest town to the famous abandoned town of Kolmanskop which is
somewhere I’ve had on my bucketlist for years! We took the afternoon to settle into
our accommodations.

Day 5: Obelix Guesthouse, Luderitz

Kolmanskop was eerie, beautiful, and mysterious bone chilling all at the same time. If all the walls could speak I’m sure they’d have so many stories to share.

The town used to be vibrant! Miners flocked to Kolmanskop to mine diamonds, lots of diamonds! By 1956 the whole town was abandoned.

When visiting you have 2 options, either you go just for pictures and show yourself around or you take a tour with a guide for about an hour and listen to the history of the town then you can go out on your own to take pictures.

We decided to do the tour and it was worth it! There were so many cool stories we would’ve missed out on.

Day 6: Agama Lodge, Naukluft Mountains (525.8km)

The guest will depart to Sossusvlei and stay 2 nights you’ll go see the iconic red dunes
of Sossusvlei. In the afternoon you will reach your lodge, where you will have to enjoy
your dinner.

Day 7: Agama Lodge, Naukluft Mountains

Guest will wake up and have breakfast before going into the park for Sossuvlei Excursion which includes Dune 45, Deadvlei, Hiddenvlei, and Big Daddy. The tour guide will have regular stops to let clients take pictures and have some exposure of the Dunes.

This morning we leave Sossusvlei and make our way to the cooler coastal town of Swakopmund by the Atlantic Ocean.

This town resembles a small German town with its architectural buildings, palm-lined streets, seaside promenades, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and museums.

We spend the next 2 nights in Swakopmund enjoying the various activities on offer.

Day 13: Twyfelfontein Tented Camp & Campsite, Twyfelfontein

This morning you will enjoy the Twfelfontein. It is a rocky site situated in the Kunene Region of north-western Namibia.

The site contains around 2,000 rock carvings and in 2007, UNESCO approved it as a World Heritage Site. The site is one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa and was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952.

Experience cultural and ethnic meetings with the Damara tribe at the Living Museum surrounded by fascinating nature, rock formations, and the magnificent landscape of Damaraland.

Day 14: Dolomite Camp, Etosha West (313.9km)

You will depart from Windhoek to Etosha National Park and stay 3 nights. The park’s main characteristic is a salt pan so large it can be seen from space.

Yet there is abundant wildlife that congregates around the waterholes, giving you almost guaranteed game sightings.

At the same time, Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa, the concentration of big games around the waterholes makes game viewing incredibly rewarding.

You might not even have to leave your rest camp to see lions, elephants, rhinos and any number of antelope and zebra quenching their thirst

You will depart to the Waterberg Plateau Park the area offers breath-taking views and an adventure you won’t forget. In the afternoon you will reach the Waterberg Resort where you will check-in and then go for an afternoon game drive for 2-3 hours.

Day 18: Waterberg Resort, Waterberg Plateau National Park

After an early breakfast, you will have a morning plateau hike for 2-3 hours your hiking guide climbs the plateau with you (approx. 150 m above the plains).

He explains the plants and animals in the park to you and gives you an insight into the daily life and culture of the Herero people living in this area.

Terrific view of the valley or the plains of the Kalahari and in the afternoon nature trail whereby you explore the valley of the nature reserve “Botanical Garden”. You will dine under the stars and enjoy the romance of the fire until the wildlife calls of the nights fade away and you fall asleep.

Day 19: Okapuka Ranch, Greater Windhoek (254.4km)
