Introduction

This 20-days Safari tour is in Zimbabwe (VicFalls), Botswana and Namibia which starts from Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) and ends in Namibia, Windhoek. This is a comfort tour that brings you to Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls town, where you can see one of the Seven Wonders of the World Mighty waterfalls you will experience the spectacular wildlife viewing in Namibia and Botswana along the watery channels of the Okavango Delta. You will also do a river cruise along the Chobe, and enjoy close encounters with hippo, giraffe, and many other animals that you might not have seen before you.

Day 1: Shearwater Explorers Village, Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) (21.4km)

Clients will be met by the guide at the airport and have a visit to Victoria Falls where they will have the guided tour for 3 hours and walk about 3.8km with our guide getting all the historical information of Victoria Falls and all its formations.

Day 2: Kairos Cottage B&B and Coffee Shop, Luderitz

Clients will refresh in the morning and have breakfast and continue to do more exciting activities. On this second day, it’s time for additional attractions – rafting on the Zambezi, canoeing, scenic flights over Victoria Falls or bungy jumping from the bridge connecting Zambia with Zimbabwe deep into the canyon at the bottom of which the frothy waters of the Zambezi rush or watching the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side

Day 3: Kwalape Safari Lodge, Kasane (85.1km)

Clients after breakfast will be crossing the border with Botswana and reach Kasane – the largest town in this region with a slight architectural chaos characteristic of Botswana. The area has the largest concentration of elephants in the world. Elephant migrations take place very close to the city limits. On the access road, be very careful because huge herds like to run across the main road. In Kasane, we will go on a boat trip on the Chobe River. During the cruise we will observe many wild animals.

Day 4: Elephant Sands, Nata (256.7km)

Clients will refresh in the morning and have breakfast than depart to Nata, there is plenty of different wildlife around on the unfenced 16000 hectare private conservancy. The campsite and lodge are unfenced; all animals roam freely which means you can expect to see various wildlife.

Day 5: Skeleton Beach Backpackers, Swakopmund (344.7km)

Guests will grab early Breakfast and then depart to Maun. After checking in and
freshening up they will go for their activity.

Day 6: Audi Camp, Maun

Clients will grab early Breakfast and then go on the game drive. And will be back around lunch and after lunch have free time.

Day 7: Shametu River Lodge, Divundu (432.5km)

Early Breakfast and then depart to The Okavango River .A visit to the Mahango Game Reserve Park, where, apart from animals, we will see huge baobabs. Today’s episode is not too long and we should be there in the early afternoon. The whole road leads through Caprivi and the area of the Bwabata National Park. The route is decorated with road signs “beware of elephants”. This is the route of the largest population of elephants migrating from Chobe to Zambezi.

Day 8: Hakusembe River Lodge Gondwana Collection Namibia, Rundu (216.8km)

Clients will get morning Breakfast and depart to Rundu which is Bordering Angola, on the banks of the Okavango River in northern Namibia, the town of Rundu serves as the capital of the eastern Kavango region. Rundu is renowned for its local woodcarvers market and is filled with impressive woodcarvers’ workshops. Guest will go on a trip on traditional mokoro boats in search of hippos and crocodiles.

Day 9: Roy's Rest Camp, Grootfontein (207km)

Clients will grab early breakfast and depart to Grootfontein (meaning ‘Big Fountain’) is famous for being home to the largest meteorite ever discovered on earth (located roughly 25 kilometres from the town centre). Along the way clients will make a stop at Tsumeb for some shopping and visit the Bushmen village

Day 10: Halali Campsite, Etosha National Park (295.7km)

Clients will depart in the morning after breakfast to Etosha and will stop along the way to visit a village inhabited by the Himba ethnic group, after lunch if time permits the clients will have an afternoon game drive in Etosha. Depending on how often you stop today, on entering the park, the first stop would be Okaukuejo where you pay your entry fee and I suggest you pop in at the local shop to purchase some drinks and snacks and most importantly, a map of Etosha which will show you all the waterholes along the way. Etosha has lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, springbok and elephants. This on top of many lesser and common plains herds, and abundant birds makes game viewing in Etosha.

Day 11: Halali Campsite, Etosha National Park

Clients will take early breakfast and then go on the Full day game drive and around 12h00 -13h00 clients will have lunch inside the park and continue with the game drive up till the afternoon and after the game drive guest will have leisure time to enjoy the atmosphere before dinner.

Day 12: Otjitotongwe Cheetah Guest Farm, Kamanjab (249km)

Clients will grab early breakfast and depart to Kamanjab and along the way, villages of the Herero people will appear and they will be decorated by women in Victorian dresses and headscarves braided to form cow horns – the Herero symbol. We will spend the night at a farm in Otjitotongwe – a cheetah sanctuary. Namibia is home to most of these beautiful cats, of which there are very few left in the world. Attempts to save this species in Namibia have been successful and within 10 years the population has increased by almost 30%. Watching cheetahs while feeding.

Day 13: Desert Elephant Camping, Damaraland (227.6km)

Guest will have breakfast and take off to Twyfelfontain they we will admire the rock drawings of the Bushmen. Twyfelfontein is famous because of its many rock paintings and rock engravings (Petroglyphs) of the San (Bushmen) of which 2500 were counted. Specifications about the age of the engravings fluctuate and a period of 1000 – 10000 years is stated. Remarkable is that the engravings were made without the use of metal tools. It is presumed that quartz tools were used instead as many quartz chips were found here.

Day 14: Spitzkoppe Campsites, Spitzkoppe (224.1km)

After breakfast client will depart to Spitzkoppe but along the way make a turn at Henties bay to see the deserted Shipwrek and then go onto Cape Cross to visit one of the largest seal colonies in the world of about 200 000 seals. Then we head on to Spitzkoppe. Although Spitzkoppe, at 1,800 meters above sea level, is not the highest mountain in Namibia, it is because of its astounding silhouette that it is the country’s most famous mountain.

Day 15: Atlantic Villa, Swakopmund (156.4km)

Guest depart to Swakopmund early morning at around 09:00 am from Sossusvlei. It’s about 4.5 hours’ drive to Swakopmund and along the way past Tropic of Capricorn. Once clients have arrived in Walvis Bay they will buy lunch,visit the Flamingo Lagoon and depart to Swakopmund, When Clients arrive in Swakopmund they will check in and be taken by the guide for their activity (Quad biking and Sandboard) which is about 2-hours activity. After the activity clients will go freshen up for dinner at a Restaurant

Day 16: Atlantic Villa, Swakopmund

After breakfast guest will have a Township tour of Swakopmund and visit the Musuem for the antient history of how Swakopmund was a trade town and how it played an important part in import and export of war machinery in WW2. In the afternoon client will have leaure time and those who would like to do boatcruises or Living desert tour to spot desert animals can book this tours optionally. By 17h30 clients will get ready for Dinner at Tuk Restaurant on availability.

Day 17: Sesriem Campsite, Sesriem (350.1km)

Guest will depart around 09:00-09:30 to Sossusvlei area. Along the way clients will stop at Rehoboth where the guide will buy snacks for 45 minutes and this is an opportunity for guest to get some snacks as well and drinks for the road. Guest can lunch at 12h00-13h00 along the road by a rest place or else if they can wait have lunch at Solitaire and have a taste of the magnificent apple pie. After arrival guest will have leisure time before going on a Sundowner drive to Elim dune around 17h30 or 18h00.

Day 18: Sesriem Campsite, Sesriem

Guest will wake up and have breakfast before going into the park for Sossuvlei Excursion which includes Dune 45, Deadvlei, Hiddenvlei, and Big Daddy. The tour guide will have regular stops to let clients take pictures and have some exposure of the Dunes. Guest will be back around lunch time and will have some leisure time for themselves at the pool.

Day 19: Arebbusch Travel Lodge, Windhoek (314.2km)

Rise early for a drive back to Windhoek have breakfast and depart to Windhoek. It is recommended to overnight in Windhoek to ensure that there is sufficient time to catch your onward flight the next day. With a whole day ahead, you can enjoy the drive back to the mother city, after your superlative and enriching wildlife experience.

Day 20: End of Itinerary (7.5km)

After Breakfast the guest will be on their way to the airport depending on what time their flight departs.
