14 Days Namibian over Air Safari (Fly-in)

You will be met in the arrivals hall of Windhoek Hosea Kutako Airport by one of our chauffeur drivers who will transfer you into town in an ATI luxury vehicle.

After taking some time to shower, relax (and maybe have a quick nap), one of our representatives will meet you at your guest house or hotel around 4 pm. If you’re landing late in the day, your briefing will be around 8 am the following morning. Our representative will offer a thorough briefing of your whole holiday and go through your marked road map, vouchers, and itinerary with you.

Flying from Windhoek, you’ll enjoy views of the beautiful landscapes of Namibia on your way to the Namib Desert. You’ll spend the next two nights at the luxurious Kulala Lodge in the wilderness reserve with easy access to the towering burnt-red dunes of Sossusvlei.

Climb aboard a plane again today for your 11h20 flight to the coast, hopefully viewing some of the unique desolate Skeleton Coast landscape from the air. You will be transferred to The Strand Hotel from Swakopmund Airfield and enjoy an afternoon exploring the town, maybe enjoying an ice cream or coffee at one of the many cafes.

Today you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to Walvis Bay for a half-day (approx. 5 hours) catamaran cruise with a beach BBQ on the beautiful Pelican Point Peninsula.

After being transferred back to Swakopmund Airfield, you will take off around 12h50 and arrive at Mowani Lodge in time for afternoon tea.

Clients have breakfast and then take a detour to visit the ancient Bushman rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, it is a rocky site situated in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia. The site contains around 2,000 rock carvings and in 2007, UNESCO approved it as a World Heritage Site. The site is one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa and was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952.

Experience cultural and ethnic meetings with the Damara tribe at the Living Museum surrounded by fascinating nature, rock formations, and the magnificent landscape of Damaraland.

The park’s main characteristic is a salt pan so large it can be seen from space. Yet there is abundant wildlife that congregates around the waterholes, giving you almost guaranteed game sightings. At the same time, Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa, the concentration of big games around the waterholes makes game viewing incredibly rewarding. You might not even have to leave your rest camp to see lions, elephants, rhino,s and any number of antelope and zebra quenching their thirst

Enjoy a leisurely morning and lunch at Safarihoek before taking a transfer back to Ongava for your flight across Etosha National Park to Mokuti airstrip. From here, you will take a scenic drive into the Onguma Game Reserve which also borders the Park
