Day 1 International Airport to Brandberg

Guest will be picked up in Windhoek or airport in the morning at 09h00 and drive to Brandenberg which is situated in northwestern Namibia, the Brandberg (Fire Mountain) Massif is Namibia’s highest peak, at its zenith, the Königstein (King’s Stone), standing at a whopping 2573 meters above sea level.

Named for the vivid shade of orange it sometimes turns at sunset, this is undoubtedly the main highlight of the region. The Brandberg has been sacred to the San people for centuries. Upon arrival, guests will go on a game drive and be back sitting around a campfire waiting for their dinner.

Located amidst tranquil surroundings, Brandberg White Lady Camping offers guests a lovely camping experience in Brandberg, Namibia.

The establishment features campsites that come equipped with barbeque facilities and water taps. Shared bathrooms with hot and cold water are available. Guests can either cook meals using the barbeque facilities or dine at the nearby lodge restaurant.

Other lodge facilities available to campers include a bar and a swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy a variety of guided drives and hiking trails.

Day 2 Brandberg to Toko Camp

This Morning guest will have breakfast and drive to Toko Camp in Kamanjab which is fringing the western edge of Etosha, Kamanjab is situated in the Kunene Region.

It serves as an excellent base for visitors looking for adventure in the surrounding area.

It is home to Peet Alberts Rock Engravings the second largest rock art site in Namibia with over 1,200 and 1,500 rock engravings featuring animal and abstract images. After arrival guests will be taken for Himba Cultural Excursions.

Toko Lodge & Safaris is an “Oasis” and the gateway to Western Etosha, Damaraland & the unspoiled Kaokoveld. Toko Lodge offers 14 comfortable and uniquely decorated en-suite double rooms with stunning views overlooking some 3000 hectares of Savanna.

Relax at the pool in a lush garden, enjoy walks and birding along the Dolomite Ridge or partake in some of the farm-based activities like the Katenda Himba Village or Nature/Game Drive in the morning or afternoon.

Sundowners around an open fire with a great atmosphere followed by a scrumptious meal can be enjoyed and the ever-popular night drive in search of the elusive ‘shy’ five can’t be missed.

Three beautiful camping sites are available with full ablution facilities. Dinners can be pre-booked. Braai packs, ice, and wood can also be purchased for your convenience.

Day 3Toko Camp to Etosha National Park

Clients are picked up in the Morning at 09:00 am and depart to Etosha and on arrival clients will get lunch and after lunch, if time permits, enter Etosha for an afternoon game drive.

Depending on how often you stop today, On entering the park, the first stop would be Okaukuejo where you pay your entry fee and I suggest you pop in at the local shop to purchase some drinks and snacks and most importantly, a map of Etosha which will show you all the waterholes along the way.

Etosha has lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, springbok, and elephants. This on top of many lesser and common plains herds, and abundant birds makes game viewing in Etosha.

Overnight: Halali Campsite

 

Day 4Etosha National Park Area

Clients will take early breakfast and then go on the Full day game drive and around 12h00 -13h00 clients will have lunch inside the park and continue with the game drive up till the afternoon and after the game, drive guest will have leisure time to enjoy the atmosphere before dinner.

Overnight: Halali Campsite

In an otherwise flat area, Halali Campsite is perched between a few hills and koppies. Thicker vegetation makes this popular with leopards, rhino and elephants. Situated halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo, the Halali Campsite is centrally located in close proximity of some of the most popular waterholes of the Etosha National Park.

A short walk will take you to the camp’s floodlit waterhole with excellent day and night game viewing. ‘Halali’ is the German word for the traditional ending of a hunt.

The campsite signifies the end of game hunting and the rise of eco-tourism in Namibia. Halali offers active guests the largest pool in the park and its strategic location between Namutoni and Okaukuejo makes it a great stopover for lunch, ice cream, a cool drink or just petrol.

Day 5Etosha National Park to Windhoek

Guests will have breakfast and drive to Windhoek Located in Windhoek, Namibia, Arebbusch Camping & Caravanning offers guests a lovely camping experience. The establishment features a selection of camping and caravan facilities.

The luxury suites include covered campsites, with washbasins, work areas, private bathrooms, barbequing facilities, washing lines, and storage rooms. The standard sites include power points, water points, a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Upon arrival depending on the time guest will have a city tour before dinner.

Located in Windhoek, Namibia, Arebbusch Camping & Caravanning offers guests a lovely camping experience.

The establishment features a selection of camping and caravan facilities. The luxury suites include covered campsites, with washbasins, work areas, private bathrooms, barbequing facilities, washing lines, and storage rooms.

Day 6Windhoek to Ghanzi

Guests will have early breakfast then depart to Ghanzi through Gobabis, guest will have a stop at the shopping center to have the opportunity to buy lunch packs or at a restaurant.

Ghanzi is situated 300 kilometers southwest of Maun and just north of the Trans-Kalahari highway, which runs from Lobatse in Botswana to Walvis Bay in Namibia, the small town of Ghanzi is sometimes referred to as the ‘Capital of the Kalahari’. It serves as the administrative center of the Ghanzi district which covers a vast area of cattle ranches and farmland in the west of Botswana.

Upon arrival after checking in guest will visit to the San tribe Village

Ghanzi Trail Blazers caters for visitors who wish to have a genuine glimpse of a fast disappearing unique and ancient culture. It offers a number of activities to interact with the San Bushman, and to discover how they survived in the Kalahari.

Ghanzi Trail Blazers is located approximately 5.6 km away from the main road, far enough away to capture the real African bushveldt.

Day 7 Ghanzi to Maun (285.1 km)

Guests will grab a nice breakfast in the morning and then drive to Maun. Maun set on the banks of the beautiful Thamalakane River in northern Botswana, Maun is the third-largest town in this spectacularly scenic southern African country.

Maun is the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta and as a result, has developed into a bustling metropolis that is considered Botswana’s tourism capital. After checking in and freshening up In the Afternoon the guest will have leisure time around the lodge.

Day 8 Maun Area

Clients will grab early Breakfast and then go on a Full Day Okavango Excursion the game drive. And will be back in the afternoon.

Audi Camp is situated at the edge of the Okavango Delta 12 km away from Maun, on the road toward the Moremi Game Reserve.

It is located on the banks of the Thamalakane River, the southernmost tributary of the Okavango Delta. Audi Camp offers camping, tented accommodation and en suite tents. The camp has an a la carte restaurant, a bar and pool and can also cater for a wide variety of activities in and around the Okavango Delta including, cultural and community-based trips.

Day 9 Okavango Delta to Nata 347 km

This morning guests will grab breakfast, pack up tents and drive to Nata which is situated 180 kilometers north of Francistown, the small village of Nata is a popular stopover between Maun and Kasane along a road known as the ‘game drive route’ as there is often a chance to catch a glimpse of wildlife along the way.

The unique landscape that surrounds the area around Nata features white sand, tall termite mounds, and the Mokolwane palm trees. Nata is a convenient stop for tourists to fill up at numerous filling stations.

Elephant Sands is a bush lodge & campsite in the north-eastern part of Botswana. Come and enjoy viewing the elephants at our natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink at only a couple of meters away from you, a unique experience! There is plenty of other wildlife around as well on our unfenced 16000 ha private conservancy. The lack of fences allows all animals to roam freely.

We are ideally located in the center of Botswana’s highlights, such as the Makgadikgadi pans, the Okavango Delta, and Chobe National Park. Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park are on our doorstep so to speak.

Day 10 Nata to Victoria Falls

On this beautiful morning, guests will drive to Victoria Falls which is resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, this popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around and makes an ideal base for travelers exploring the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls.

About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side and, while the falls are undoubtedly the star attraction, the area provides both adventure seekers and sightseers with plenty of opportunities to warrant a longer stay. After arrival guests will visit the craft center will check-in and prepare for dinner.

Day 11Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Clients will wake up for breakfast and then visit to the Victoria water falls. Guest will have leisure time for the rest of the day and can choose to do extra optional activities.
