The Panorama Route is one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa connecting the Lowveld and the amazing geological features of the Mpumalanga Drakensberg.

Surrounded by subtropical fruit orchards, Hazeyview is a small farming town and a gateway to the southern part of the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Escarpment. We arrive after midday at the camp and prepare lunch. After booking into the rest camp, we spend the midday either at the swimming pool or at a shady area of the camp overlooking a waterhole. Satara is well known as Cat Central and lion, leopard and cheetah are often seen close to camp. In the afternoon we do a game drive to Nsemani Dam where we usually see hippo and crocodile amongst other game. At night we will most likely be visited by the resident wild cat and spotted hyena. We prepare a scrumptious dinner in camp around the fire.
