Day 1 Maun Airport to Maun 10.9km

Accommodation: Island Safari Lodge, Campsite, Maun / Similar

Clients will be picked up at the airport and depart to Island Safari Lodge which is situated in Maun. After checking in and freshening up.

In the Afternoon the clients will depart for a Mokoro Excursion (for 2 hours) After this activity clients will get back and the lodge and get ready for Dinner.

Day 2Maun Area

Accommodation: Island Safari Lodge, Maun / Similar

Clients will grab early Breakfast and then go on the game drive. And will be back around lunch and after lunch has free time.

Overnight: Island Safari Lodge

Island Safari Lodge is set on a 300-acre private island reserve and is just 10 km away from Maun Airport. It is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River under a canopy of beautifully lush and green Okavango trees. The lodge overlooks a floodplain of fields and water that are frequented by an abundance of birdlife and the occasional Hippo.

The lodge offers a tranquil bush setting that is complemented by the river view, a pool, and the iconic tranquil call of the African Fish Eagle.

The accommodation is comfortable and set in the lodge gardens. The lodge comprises 12 Chalets, 6 Heritage Rooms, and 6 Heritage Family Rooms all with en suite showers, DSTV, and air conditioning. The lodge has a main bar and restaurant area with seating indoors or out in the gardens.

You can choose from a la carte menu for lunches and dinners accompanied by our wine list. It is an ideal place to relax alongside flowing waters, or beside one of the swimming pools, using the free WI-FI services and ordering refreshments from the restaurant.

Day 3Maun to Moremi 121.7km

Clients will have breakfast and then depart to Moremi which is the next destination, which is situated in the east of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve ranks as one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa. It covers more than 4871 square kilometers of pristine wilderness, and the varied terrain includes savannah, winding waterways, and dense forest. Upon arrival clients will go on the Mokoro the traditional Canoe.

Day 4Moremi Game Reserve Area

Accommodation: Third Bridge Camp, Moremi Game Reserve / Similar

Clients will grab morning breakfast and go on to do the game drive whereby they will be back before Lunch and after Lunch, clients will have time to rest or do other optional activities.

3rd Bridge Camp is a small, intimate camp of 5 Meru tents accommodating a maximum of 10 guests in comfort and style.

The guest area consists of a central mess tent, outside fire-pit, reminiscent of a bygone age, the cuisine is tasteful safari fare- simple, yet delicious, often prepared on the open fire.

The tents have been positioned to ensure privacy and a modest level of exclusivity throughout the camp and each tent sits on a platform, with stunning views over the Channel. The tents are large and spacious with en-suite facilities including a flush toilet and safari shower.

3rd Bridge offers a boat cruise into the waterways exploring the deep-water lagoons, the sinuous channels passing numerous islands. Experience guides who will take you on game drives in this game-rich area conduct activities.

Due to the very diverse vegetation (riverine forest, floodplain, Mopani forests), the wildlife is spectacular; elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, lechwe, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, and wild dog to name a few.

Day 5: Khwai Community To Leopard Plains 222.3km

Clients will grab breakfast and depart from Khwai Community to Leopard which is Situated in the southern reaches of Africa, Botswana is renowned for its pristine wilderness areas characterized by deep lagoons, wetlands, lush palms, rugged hills and desert plains scattered with scrubland.

The country’s primary tourist drawcard is undoubtedly the vast red expanse of the Kalahari Desert and its remarkably beautiful Okavango Delta, the largest inland delta in the world.

Nata is a convenient stop for tourists to fill up at numerous filling station. Upon arrival clients will visit to Makgadikgadi Salt Pans.

Day 8 Nata Area

Nata Situated 180 kilometers north of Francistown, the small village of Nata is a popular stopover between Maun and Kasane along a road known as the ‘game drive route’ as there is often a chance to catch a glimpse of wildlife along the way.

The unique landscape that surrounds the area around Nata features white sand, tall termite mounds and the Mokolwane palm trees. Nata is a convenient stop for tourists to fill up at numerous filling station. Nata serves as an excellent base from which to explore the eastern section of the spectacular Makgadikgadi Pans.

The Nata Sanctuary is a popular stop and a highlight for avid bird watchers, where lucky visitors can be rewarded with large flocks of Flamingos and Pelicans, which breed here each year.

Overnight: Nata Lodge

An oasis set among the Mokolwane palms on the edge of the pans. It is ideally situated close to the entrance to the Nata Sanctuary and is just off the main road, 10 km from Nata village. This is the junction to the Okavango, Chobe, and Francistown areas.

The Nata River delta feeds the Sua Pan in the Nata sanctuary and forms the breeding ground for a host of water birds including pelicans and flamingos in their thousands, transforming the shoreline into a pink haze blending into the western sky. Nata Lodge offers guided tours in open safari vehicles into the sanctuary, not to be missed.

Day 9 Nata To Chobe National Park 254km

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge, Campsite / Similar

Clients will have a game drive throughout Chobe to their accommodation in Chobe. The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities.

This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them. After Arrival Clients will go on a Guided Bush Walk.

Day 10Chobe National Park

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge, Campsite / Similar

Clients will have breakfast and then have a full-day game drive in the Chobe National Park. Expected animals to see are lions, wild dogs, cheetah, leopards, giraffes, bushbucks, blue wildebeests, and huge numbers of hippo. Clients will return around 17h00 after a long day of game viewing and will have a goodnight’s sleep after a long day.

Day 11Chobe River Front

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge, Campsite / Similar

After breakfast clients will have free time to enjoy the animals around the lodge and can also do some optional activities or enjoy at the bar.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on the doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.

Chobe Safari Lodge, therefore, offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls, or Caprivi.

The proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport, and Kasane International Airport make it easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge.

Day 12Chobe To Victoria Falls 162 km

Clients will depart from Chobe to Victoria Falls which is in the largest water Fall in the world Resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, this popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around and makes an ideal base for travelers exploring the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls. After arrival clients will go on the game drive and get back for dinner.
