12 Days Wonderful Namibia Safaris’ self-drive is to visit around the main highlights that Namibia has to offer in Africa. Itinerary
DAY 1: Windhoek to Sossusvlei
Time/ Distance: 4 hr 45 min (364.8 km)
Met at the airport and transferred in an air-conditioned car to Villa Violet in the capital city of Windhoek. Our guide will go through your self-drive itinerary and answer any questions you may have. Then drive to Sossusvlei with enjoying the beauty.

DAY 2: Sossuvlei to sesriem Area
After breakfast this morning, you will commence your adventure with a drive of about 318km to Sesriem and the Desert Homestead Lodge for two nights with dinner and breakfast. The lodge is ideally located for exploring the ancient dunes or walking in the Namib Naukluft Mountains. Optional horseriding or guided nature drives can be arranged. The night skies in this area are spectacular.

DAY 3: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
Time/ Distance: 4 hr 52 min (403.2 km)
This morning there is an optional balloon safari or a scenic flight over the Namib Naukluft National Park available before your group’s departure (additional fees apply and must be pre-booked). Depart with your guide and continue to Swakopmund, which is charming with its distinctively continental air and historic buildings. There will be time to explore the town with its craft shops and cafes. Arrive in time to explore the town before enjoying a group dinner at a popular seafood restaurant.

DAY 4: Swakopmund Area
The next day enjoys a scenic morning drive along the coast to Walvis Bay for a kayak trip around the lagoon. The kayaking is an ideal way of seeing Cape fur seals, Heaviside and bottlenose dolphins, pelicans, flamingos, and a wide variety of other sea birds. If you are lucky, there is also a chance of seeing whales, leatherback turtles, and sunfish. For those not wanting to partake in kayaking, an alternative seal and dolphin cruise on a motorized boat is available. Return to Swakopmund where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 5: Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe
Time/ Distance: 1 hr 37 min (152.1 km)
This morning, plan on an early departure from Swakopmund as you make your way to Spitzkoppe. You'll first head northbound through the National West Coast Recreational Area towards the small fishing town of Henties Bay. If you have time, make sure to stop in Cape Cross and say hello to the Cape fur seal colony here.

DAY 6: Spitzkoppe Area
After breakfast, grab your camera and take advantage of the morning light. This beautiful area is a hikers' and rock climbers' paradise and the view from the top of the peaks is an incredible reward for the effort to get there. For history buffs, organized guided walks are available where a guide will take you to view some of the numerous rock art sites, explaining the stories captured in the ancient drawings.

DAY 7: Spitzkoppe to Brandberg
Time/ Distance: 2hr (99.5 km)
After a relaxing start, we cycle past the Spitzkoppe boulders. We approach the imposing Brandberg Mountain in Damaraland on our bicycles – a sight to behold – the highest mountain in Namibia! This is where the rare desert elephant roams and the meerkat rule!

DAY 8: Brandberg Area
The next day morning, after breakfast your trip continues to Bandberg to explore it. The Brandberg has been sacred to the San people for centuries. The Tsisab Ravine at its base is permeated with over 45 000 ancient San rock paintings, including the famous ‘White Lady’. Visitors flock here to view this unique bushman painting.

DAY 9: Brandberg to Etosha National Park
Time/ Distance: 4hr 12 min (312 km km)
After a relaxing start to the morning, we transfer to Etosha National Park, one of Southern Africa's best game viewing parks. Here we go on a late afternoon game drive in search of the various wildlife in the park which includes elephants, rhino, and lions. When at camp we have the opportunity to sit by the watering hole which is floodlit at night and enjoy the living theatre which unfolds as animals come down to the water to drink.

DAY 10: Etosha National Park Area
Today is dedicated to going on safari. We will go on morning and afternoon game drives and will have the opportunity to relax back at camp during the heat of the day when the wildlife hides from the hot Namibian sun.

DAY 11: Etosha National Park to Waterberg Plateau National Park
Time/ Distance: 2 hr 54 min (278.7 km)
The Etosha National Park undoubtedly offers one of the most beautiful pictures of wildlife in the world. It covers more than 22,000 km² in total where 114 species of mammals and 340 varieties of birds live. Breakfast and drive to Etosha National Park. en Route possibility of visiting the Meteorite of Hobas which is one of the largest meteorites in the world, after continuing towards the par of Etosha for a Safari in the park with your vehicle.

DAY 12: Waterberg to Windhoek
Time/ Distance: 3 hr 7 min (304.1 km)
This morning, you will drive the 304km back to Windhoek, where you can check in your vehicle at the airport, before your onward or return flight.

How To Book And How To Pay:
To reserve this tour, a payment of 30% of the total price must be made at the time of reservation. The balance of 70% can be made 30 days before the departure of your tour. Your deposit can either be made through a Bank Transfer, with the addition of a 45 US Dollar fee or by Credit Card which incurs an additional bank charge of 3.5%.
