You will be met by our Safari Guide and then depart for the Waterberg Plateau Park. The Waterberg area offers breath-taking views and an adventure you won’t forget. In the afternoon you will reach the Waterberg Resort Campsite where you will check in you will have an afternoon game drive for 2-3 hours before returning to the campsite for your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast you will have a morning plateau hike for 2-3 hours your hiking guide climbs the plateau with you (approx. 150 m above the plains). He explains plants and animals in the park to you and gives you an insight into the daily life and culture of the Herero people living in this area.
Terrific view of the valley or of the plains of the Kalahari and in the afternoon nature trail whereby you explore the valley of the nature reserve “Botanical Garden”. You will dine under the stars and enjoy the romance of the fire until the wildlife calls of the nights fade away and you fall asleep.

The morning calls of the birds will wake you up at sunrise. You will break camp and have breakfast you will head out, on foot, into the reserve. Despite the extreme conditions of the region, it is still rich with a variety of wildlife, especially around the watering holes (3-4 hours).
The goal and aim today is to track the Rhinos by Foot doing it like the Bushmen. Guided by your tracker you will explore our nature reserve at the foot of the Waterberg and detect game such as oryx or red hartebeest, kudu or giraffe you might even come face to face with rhino the trail leads you along the mountain ridges of our base camp that have already been set out for you. After your walk you will enjoy a well-deserved hot shower in the bush camp upon arrival you will check-out and start your drive back to Namibia’s capital city arriving in the midday. This is where your safari will end.
