Day 1Moshi to Arusha (243.9 km)

Accommodation: Ilboru Safari Lodge, Arusha / Similar

These Morning guests will be picked up Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport, go to the passport control desk for a passport check, make sure your passport is stamped before you leave the desk. Is this going to be your first safari in Tanzania? Make sure you share with us what was your expectations about the country after the safari. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surroundings. The following day the guest will drive to the National Park early in the next morning. Upon arrival guest will go on a City/Township Tour

Day 2 Arusha

Day 3 Moshi Arusha to Arusha (20km)

This Morning guests will have breakfast then go on a game drive and will be back around lunch and after lunch has leisure time to relax.

Day 4Arusha to Tarangire National Park (139.7 km)

The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). Day 5Tarangire National Park

The guest will have breakfast go on game drives today. Animals that are likely to be seen are with the lion being among the most spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe, and the wondrous mountains to the south.

Tarangire Safari Lodge is located within the national park boundary of Tarangire National Park, approximately 10 km away from the main entrance. Perched at the edge of a natural bluff, the lodge is renowned for its panoramic views of the Savannah and Tarangire River below, providing breathtaking scenery and game viewing. The lodge’s safari tents, with thatched roofs and large, mesh screened windows, provide the ideal opportunity to connect with the sights and sounds of nature. Each tent has a comfortable veranda, ideal for bird and game viewing, or reading a favorite book after a dusty safari. With a choice of twin, double, or triple accommodation, all tents are equipped with en suite bathrooms with solar-heated showers, ample cupboard space, and a cultural touch of local textiles. The five circular bungalows, built in a similar style to the Maasai boma, offer a more spacious option for family and triple accommodation. The airy rooms are situated near a large watering hole, creating the opportunity to watch wildlife from the shaded veranda. Day 6 Tarangire National Park to Karatu

Guest will have early breakfast and drive to Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area. The eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.

Day 8Karatu to Ngorongoro Region

This day guests will have breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park and then depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive where the guest can take pictures and will have a lunch box on the road. Ngorongoro is a special area of which it’s a conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Masaai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. upon arrival, guests will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 9Ngorongoro Region

This day guests will have breakfast and enjoy the morning game drive. Lake Eyasi is a soda lake located at the southwest corner of Ngorongoro Crater in the conservation area highlands. The lake is around 1050 km2 (400 square miles) and is 1040 m (3400 feet) above sea level.

Perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, the magnificent Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is the only property on the eastern rim of this World Heritage Site.

Accommodating 186 guests in its 97 spacious en-suite bedrooms, the Lodge has its own private road to the crater floor. The Lodge is perfectly situated to explore the abundant game in what is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. Day 10 Ngorongoro Region to Ndutu

Guest will have breakfast and depart towards the Serengeti National Park, through the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Leaving the highlands behind. Seronera is In the Central Park area, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River Which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species We arrive in time for lunch and then will go on an afternoon game drive.

Day 11 Ndutu

Accommodation: Lake Masek Tented Lodge, Ndutu / Similar

Guest will have breakfast then go on game drives. Other commonly spotted species include leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, serval, African wildcat, and a variety of prolific birdlife.

Overnight: Lake Masek Tented Lodge

Lake Masek Tented Lodge is situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, overlooking Lake Masek. The unique location is witness to the wildebeest migration which takes place from December to April each year. There is a resident Big 5 game all year round in the area. The camp is Eco friendly, all the electric power is supplied by solar panels and water is collected during the rainy season. All the products used are biodegradable in order to ensure that the environment is kept pristine.

Guest accommodations feature 30 luxury tents with en suite facilities and either king-sized beds, twins or triple beds. Each tent is built on a raised wooden platform with a veranda from which guests can observe the wildlife visiting Lake Masek.

The bedroom area is ample and tastefully furnished. The bathroom area with twin washbasins, a standalone bath, and an outside shower is separated from the bedroom area by way of a screen. Guests can enjoy a relaxing bath or take a shower under the stars.

Day 12 Ndutu to Nairobi

Guest will have breakfast and depart to Nairobi which is situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place, and although it has developed a reputation that keeps tourist visits brief, there are some fascinating attractions. Guest will take advantage of a private vehicle and guide to explore Nairobi National Park and other points of interest.

Guest will have breakfast and drive to Mabamba swamp to search for the most sought-after bird in Africa, the ancient-looking Shoebill Stork along with many other birds in the Swamp. Guest, You then access the swamp in a local fishing boat / Canoe with a local guide.

Day 14 Kampala to Bwindi National Park

Guest will be picked up in Kigali and drive to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Uganda will go through Rwanda’s northern town of Ruhengeri his drive will take you approx 4-5 hours. Guest will then cross over into Uganda via Cyanika or Katuna border post. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is in southwestern Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rainforest. It is world-renowned for its excellent gorilla-sighting opportunities.
