Die Stadt war einst sehr lebendig! Bergleute strömten nach Kolmanskop, um Diamanten abzubauen, jede Menge Diamanten! 1956 wurde die ganze Stadt verlassen. Bei einem Besuch haben Sie zwei Möglichkeiten: Entweder Sie gehen nur zum Fotografieren hin und zeigen sich selbst, oder Sie nehmen an einer etwa einstündigen Führung mit einem Führer teil und hören sich die Geschichte der Stadt an. Anschließend können Sie auf eigene Faust losziehen, um Fotos zu machen.
