Nambwa Lagoon Camp is situated close to Nambwa Lodge on the Nambwa Island within the Bwabwata National Park. Nambwa Lagoon Camp offers five Meru style tents build on platforms along the backwaters of the Kwando River
Nambwa Lagoon Camp is constructed in the 300.000 hectar Mayuni Conservancy close to a floodplain of the Kwando river. Large herds of elephants and buffalos and families of hippos are regular visitors to the area. The rare roan and sable antelopes can be spotted as well as lions, wild dogs and leopards. Furthermore the area around Nambwa is well known by ornithologists for over 300 bird species.
