After your arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport approx. 45 km east of Windhoek, you will be welcomed by the car rental company and taken to Windhoek where you will take over your vehicle with all the necessary instructions and information. Afterwards you will drive to your accommodation where you are able to freshen up and rest. In the afternoon you will have time to do some shopping for the next couple of days during the drive you can also get to know historical buildings. Today’s episode is not too long and we should be there in the early afternoon. The whole road leads through Caprivi and the area of the Bwabata National Park. The route is decorated with road signs “beware of elephants”. This is the route of the largest population of elephants migrating from Chobe to Zambezi.
