NYANGA NATIONAL PARK

Nyangwe National Park is a stunning natural area located in the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe, near the border with Mozambique. The park covers an area of over 47,000 hectares and features a diverse range of landscapes, from rugged mountains to rolling hills and grassy plains. Nyangwe is also home to a wide range of flora and fauna, including several species that are endemic to the region.

One of the main attractions in Nyangwe National Park is Mount Nyangani, the highest peak in Zimbabwe, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors to the park can also explore several other natural wonders, including the beautiful Pungwe Falls, the scenic Mutarazi Falls, and the mystical Honde Valley. The park offers a variety of activities for visitors, including hiking, fishing, bird watching, and game drives, with several species of antelopes, baboons, and monkeys spotted in the park. Nyangwe National Park’s remote location and relatively low number of visitors make it an excellent destination for those seeking an authentic African wilderness experience.
