Day 1: Olive Grove Guesthouse, Windhoek (3.4km)

Guest will be picked up at the airport and depart to Windhoek and will be picked up by the tour guide after lunch to go on a Windhoek Township tour if they arrive early In Windhoek and if times permits otherwise they will do the city tour the next morning before departing to the Dunes. Windhoek is situated in Central Namibia; the cosmopolitan city of Windhoek serves as the capital of the country. It is home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and accommodation options. The city is clean, safe and well-organised, with a colonial legacy that is reflected in its many German eateries and shops, and the widespread use of the German language.

Day 2: Kwessi Dunes, NamibRand Nature Reserve (348.3km)

Neighbouring the Namib-Naukluft National Park in southern Namibia, the 200,000- hectare NamibRand Nature Reserve boasts one of the country’s most striking landscapes, complete with sweeping desert plains, craggy mountains, fairy circles and fiery red dunes. From your well-positioned lodge, you’ll set out on scenic drives, nature walks and quad biking excursions – keeping an eye out for wildlife like gemsbok, Burchell’s zebra and the bat-eared fox along the way. You can even traverse the landscape on horseback, enjoy hot air balloon flights and embark on day trips to the mighty sand dunes of Sossusvlei. A designated International Dark Sky Reserve, the area’s stargazing opportunities are phenomenal.

Day 3: Kwessi Dunes, NamibRand Nature Reserve

Guest will wake up and have breakfast before going into the park. The tour guide will have regular stops to let clients take pictures and have some exposure of the Dunes. Guest will be back around lunch time and will have some leisure time for themselves at the pool

Day 4: Hoanib Valley Camp, Hoanib River (678 km)

After a hearty breakfast you’ll catch a flight to Sesfontein, transferring to your camp in northwestern Namibia’s Kaokoland. Rugged, remote and incredibly beautiful, Kaokoland is roamed by a remarkable array of desert-adapted wildlife who make their home amidst the region’s Rocky Mountains, sand dunes and desert.

Day 5: Hoanib Valley Camp, Hoanib River

Clients have breakfast and be able to explore the area on foot and by vehicle, tracking elephants, giraffes and the endangered black rhino along the ancient, dry riverbeds. Bird watchers will have the opportunity to spot Monterio’s hornbills and Verreaux’s eagles in the valleys, while visits to nomadic Himba settlements offer a unique insight into life in this isolated region.

Day 6: Safarihoek Lodge, Etosha Heights Private Reserve

Clients have breakfast and another light aircraft flight now brings you to the exclusive Etosha Heights Private Reserve neighbouring Namibia’s celebrated Etosha National Park. The area is renowned for its prolific display of wildlife, with elephants, big cats, hippos, wildebeest, antelope and both black and white rhinos roaming free and unobstructed across the flat savannah. When not enjoying guided game drives or bush walks, you can wildlife-watch from the comfort of your own room or get close-ups in the double-tiered photography hide. You can even experience the magic of the Namibian bush after dark on an exciting night-time game drive.

Day 7: Safarihoek Lodge, Etosha Heights Private Reserve

After breakfast, you’ll have the entire day to spend in Etosha National Park. Before you set out on your adventure, consult with your guide and an animal sightings book to determine the current movement of animals in the area to optimize your game viewing experience. Detailed maps of the park are also available at each resort curio shop and filling station. In the heart of the park is the Etosha pan, meaning place of dry water, an extensive flat depression of about 3,107 square feet (947 m). This great white expanse is a place of shimmering mirages; seeing large herds of game in this setting makes Etosha a unique experience in Africa.
